Constantine Karbaliotis is counsel at nNovation LLP, a boutique privacy law firm in Canada. Constantine’s practice is focused exclusively on privacy and data protection, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. He has twenty years of experience in privacy, on both domestic and international levels. Constantine has fulfilled numerous roles in privacy: aside from the practice of law and consulting, Constantine has also acted as privacy officer and leader for two multinational organizations, where he managed the company’s internal compliance and the development and implementation of privacy programs, dealing with diverse areas of international privacy and data protection.
Neil Beaton, DRT Cyber
Neil has over 25 years of experience as a senior executive responsible for business development in several industries and in IT and high-tech project management for large, multi-national corporations. Neil is responsible for new business development of DRT Cyber’s (DRTC) privacy and cyber security services. On the cyber side, DRTC offers a full suite of traditional, manual IT security assurance and penetration testing services and a unique, fully autonomous, AI/machine-learning-driven penetration testing and social engineering application. DRTC’s primary privacy product is RAVEN, a world-leading commercial email management solution for compliance with CASL, CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CaCPA which also features powerful anti-phishing and anti-malware capabilities. In addition, DRTC acts as a re-seller of Cassie, our UK-based partner Syrenis’ premier consent and preference management system. Neil was previously VP Corporate Development at CAPS Group where he specialized in business development for privacy software and digital print/packaging services. Before that, he was CIO and SVP of Strategic Initiatives and Credit Card Services at Pacific, and Western Bank of Canada (now VersaBank), where he developed two entirely new lines of business. Neil has also been a Project Director for various ERP implementations of SAP and Oracle at Rolls-Royce Canada, Bombardier Defense, and CAE.
